About Elizabeth Hamby

My 26 years as an educator have been filled with countless blessings, numerous challenges, memorable students, and multiple stories. Through this blog, I aim to provide practical advice, share personal experiences, and offer a supportive space for teachers at every stage of their careers. Whether you're just starting or a seasoned veteran, I hope to inspire and mentor you on your educational path.

In addition to teaching, my joys include being a wife of 27 years, a mother to three beautiful children, and a soon-to-be grandmother!  I love to shop, decorate my home, and read historical fiction.  I recently became the elementary supervisor at Tabernacle Christian School in Hickory, NC, where I mentor and assist teachers and develop relationships with families and their children.
